You know, why isn't this story big news? The swift vet thing gets big but this goes? . . . where?
I'm beginning to see the real problem here is not the alleged weakness of the Kerry campaign (but not denying it partly or potentially), or the awesome brilliance of the Rove Plan (that chubby fucker is not that smart), but stems more from the fact that the media in America is majorally run by corporations who seem to have decided they want Bush in and not Kerry, so they're doing everything they can to:
1) shut out as much pro-Kerry stuff as possible
2) amplify attacks on Kerry
3) downplay said attack's relationship to Bush
4) ignore criticism of Bush
5) when noting criticism of Bush, always point out 'dirty hippie' characteristics of critic
6) when presenting Bush, correct verbal flaws (changing quotes when necessary), and even changing the facts in a story to make the Republicans look less bad.
Perhaps the real revolution that is necessary to repel this millionaire's attack on the middle class and poor of America is a new journalistic movement which hey! actually cares about reporting the facts! (but more importantly a real journalism-dissemination system as widespread as the current corporate media megalo-hold.)
We need more efforts like Air America Radio, to be sure . . .
And this whole corporate media welfare shit has got to go. They get OUR AIRWAVES for free and give us SHIT in return? Who's fucking who here?
(Hm, maybe this story will creep up the charts after all . . . now if only TV and the major newspapers would follow . . . but better not make plans on it . . . )
