Do As I Say, Not As I Do
I think it is sound advice to not give advice unless asked. So when I learned third hand that a friend of mine is going to vote for George W. Bush in the upcoming election because he is anti-choice, I (who oppose GWB) was frustrated but have decided to wait until she brings it up.

But that doesn't mean I can't do some research to be ready for when she does bring it up, and for the benefit of anyone else out there who might be voting for Bush because they think he is anti-choice. The fact is, Bush supported abortion when it was his girlfriend who had one - and in the years when abortion was illegal, at that. This was reported on CNN - but the transcript of that report is now offline and the video has been edited to remove key portions of the report. One of the people involved who had evidence of the 'crime' formerly lived in a US$13,000/year apartment and was ready to spill the beans. Later she lived in a 1/2 million dollar home and had no comment. How about that. [link]

Voting for Bush thinking he is anti-choice is unsupportable. Bush does what he wants to do, when he wants to do it, and if he has a separate set of morals for others (with the money to make it stick) then that's okay, because when you've got God on your side you can do anything you want.
